Ms. Tara Riandika joined ABNR as an associate in July 2011. She earned her law degree in 2009 from the Faculty of Law of University of Indonesia, majoring in Economic Law.
Tara’s main areas of practice encompass Indonesian corporate and commercial law matters and she has plenty experiences in handling investment projects which include the establishment of foreign investment limited liability companies and representative offices, M&A transactions, corporate restructuring, and capital market projects which include domestic and overseas initial public offerings and bond issuance, as well as employment and immigration matters.
Worthy of note is her specific knowledge and very good understanding of employment regulations in which she has advised numerous clients on various employment matters. Her employment practice within ABNR includes providing advice on employment matters arising from the M&A transactions or corporate restructuring, providing advice and assistance in employment termination, providing advice on employment of local and foreign employees, providing advice on transfer of employees, drafting and reviewing the employment agreements, company regulation/employee handbooks, and collective labor agreements.
In 2014 and subsequently in 2015, she divided her time between routine practice at the firm and secondment at leading multinational pharmaceutical companies. The experiences have helped develop her understanding of the commercial side of the pharmaceutical industry as well as a good understanding on the corporate environment and the client’s expectations on how services should be delivered by the firm.
